| 中文描述 | 本疾病一開始多發生於臉部、耳朵與鼻孔附近，再逐漸擴散到全身。診斷時必須進行深層的刮皮檢查，有時候即使深層刮皮都不一定能檢出疥蟲。對於藥物治療的反應也可做為診斷依據。感染本疾病會劇烈的搔癢。動物劇烈抓搔後可能會引發二次性皮膚病變。美國目前還沒有發生綿羊感染穿孔疥癬蟲的疫情。 |

| 英文描述 | Starts in the face and ears and around the nostrils, then extends. Deep skin scrapings needed, and even then mites could be missed. Response to therapy is a diagnostic test. Pruritus is intense. May be secondary skin lesions due to the intensity of scratching. The U.S. is free of sarcoptic mange in sheep. |
